50 Records, an independent record label based in Minneapolis, announced today that it has added the Atlanta-based rock band Elevation to its roster of artists.
“I was drawn to Elevation initially because of their strong musicality and their unique sound. I believe they are a good fit with 50 Records because our vision of their future is similar to theirs,” said Drew Pearson, Director of A&R for the label. “First and foremost, 50 Records is about representing artists, during a period of dramatic changes in the music industry. I'm confident that Elevation will have the opportunity here to retain their artistic vision.”
Elevation joins popular Minneapolis band White Light Riot on the 50 Records label. Elevation will finish touring this summer and go into production on their first full-length album this fall.
